🧠 About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled DevOps Engineerto join a growing platform team responsible for building, deploying, and operating cloud-native systems at scale. You’ll work closely with software engineers, security, and product teams to improve reliability, performance, and developer experience across the organisation.
This role suits someone who enjoys ownership, automation, and improving systems end-to-end.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps
Manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code(Terraform preferred)
Operate and optimise workloads in Azure(AKS, App Services, Storage, Key Vault)
Improve observability using Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana
Implement security best practices (secrets management, least privilege, scanning)
Support containerised applications using Docker & Kubernetes
Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment and release strategies
Participate in on-call rotation and incident response (lightweight)
✅ Required Skills & Experience
3+ years experience in a DevOps / Platform / SRE role
Strong experience with Azure(or AWS with willingness to switch)
Hands-on experience with Terraform
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Experience running containerised workloads (Docker, Kubernetes)
Good scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, or Python)
Familiarity with Linux-based systems
🌟 Nice to Have
Experience with Helmand Kubernetes operators
Knowledge of security tooling(Snyk, Fortify, Trivy, etc.)
Exposure to microservices architectures
Experience supporting .NET or Node.js applications
Understanding of GitOpsprinciples
